UC experimental economist honored by research award (24 Dec)
Senior lecturer in economics, Dr Maroš Servátka has been awarded the Modelling and Simulation Society of Australia and New Zealand's Early Career Research Excellence Prize in Socioeconomic Systems at the MODSIM 11 Conference held in Perth, Western Australia. One prize is awarded biennially to a young researcher no more than 10 years out from the completion of his/her highest degree.

UC honours its outstanding teachers (15 Jul)
Teaching excellence at the University of Canterbury has been recognised with the awarding of six University Teaching Awards including Economics Teaching Fellow, Steve Agnew.
