Background
Dr Kuntal Das joined the Department of Economics and Finance at Canterbury in February 2010 after completing his Ph.D. at the University of California Santa Cruz. Before joining Canterbury, he was a lecturer in Economics at UCSC. He has also been a consultant for the World Bank, an intern at the International Monetary Fund, a research associate at the Asian Development Bank, and an intern at the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, India.
