Australasian Public Choice Conference - College of Business and Economics

Australasian Public Choice Workshop 2010

Opening reception: Wednesday, 8 December, starting 7 PM. Poseidon Restaurant and Bar25 Esplanade, Sumner.

From downtown Christchurch, take the Number 3 bus departing from the corner of Oxford Terrace & Montreal Street, departures at 6:16 PM and 6:29 PM, to arrive at the corner of Main Road & Mariner St. at either 6:50 PM or 7:03 PM. From there, walk to the beach and look for the big restaurant on the beach. The link takes you to the Metro Bus website mapping this particular journey. The map is set to 301 Main Road as that’s the stop closest to the restaurant. Just walk up to the beach, then walk towards the only restaurant on the beach.

The conference is being held at the Commerce Building at the University of Canterbury. From anywhere downtown, take the Number 3 bus from the City Exchange to the University.  The bus will stop on Ilam Road at the University Students’ Association building. From there, it’s a nice 7 minute walk to the Commerce Building.  A map is attached below. Signs at the first floor entrance will direct you to the conference.
Registration can be completed on arrival. $200 covers the opening reception, lunches, and dinners. Cash and credit cards accepted.
